Freeze Warning regarding Trees

There is likely another freeze headed our way starting as early as Sunday, Jan 6th. On and off freezing temperatures could last about a week.

During previous winter freezes, our neighborhood experienced broken trees and limbs. Several homeowners had their front yard tree split in half or had big limbs broken due to the weight of the freezing ice on limbs.

It’s a good idea to prepare for a winter freeze as well as protect yourself and your property from potential damage.

Take a quick look around your property. If you have trees with risky or dead limbs hanging low over:

-roof

-cars

-fence

-sidewalk (limbs need to be 8+ feet)

-street (limbs need to be 14+ feet)

Please call our trusted tree vendor, JP’s Tree Service, for an estimate: (512) 550-5978

Our HOA completed a lot of needed tree work in 2024. If HOA trees or limbs break and fall into the street, parks, or trail path, we will act swiftly.

Stay safe and warm!
